Difficulty curve is a solid wall

This game gets pretty unplayable real quick. The basic ship doesnt have enough cargo space to carry the materials necessary to build any other ships. Theres no other place to store them either. The basic enemies outclass you quickly too, and chase you down on the galaxy map. Not fun to play.
